Ultimate Direction Ultra Flip Glove
Best convertibleCold-weather running guide
A grid-fleece glove with a stowable silicone-coated Cordura mitt that flips over the fingers; iRunFar picks it as the best convertible for runs that start cold and warm up. The mitt adds a wind and wet barrier, though steady rain can seep in from the palm side.

What reviewers say
Best Convertible pick at $50; called highly versatile, with a waterproof mitt and an inner glove warmer than its thickness suggests. Cons: no silicone grippers on the inner glove and unremarkable touchscreen function.
iRunFar: Best Running Gloves of 2026 · Oct 23, 2026
Recommended glove for variable conditions; light, packable, and helpful for people with circulation issues. Testers found that in rain, with hands at their sides, water entered the mitt near the palm and pooled, leaving the gloves soggy.
