TrailHeads Convertible Zip Mitts
WarmestCold-weather running guide
A 200g PrimaLoft running mitten with a back-of-hand zipper that frees your fingers. iRunFar recommends it for frigid runs and praises its warmth at a fair price, but it is heavy and bulky, so it earns its place only on truly cold days.

What reviewers say
Listed among its other favorite gloves at $52 (its FAQ calls it the site's best cold-weather running glove), with a sweet spot of about -15 to 20°F. Testers praised its warmth, the zip top for venting or quick hand use, and its value, but found it heavy, bulky and less packable.
iRunFar: Best Running Gloves of 2026 · Oct 23, 2026
Recommended mitten for temperatures under 20°F; testers kept their fingers comfortable down to -15°F and liked unzipping to grab a key or adjust a headlamp, but it is less suited to runs where you shed layers.
